Mens Wedding Rings for Any Personality
In the past there were very few options in mens wedding ring designs, but fortunately today's jewelry designers are producing wedding bands for men in a variety of classic and contemporary metals, shapes, widths, and styles, so every man can find the Mens Wedding Rings that best suit him. Although a Mens Wedding Rings is more of a symbolic item than something worn for style alone, it is unlikely that a man will wear another piece of jewelry as much as this one, so it is important to choose a mens wedding ring that is well matched to your personality, profession, lifestyle, and wardrobe.
This new variety is most evident in the assortment of metals from which a mens wedding band can be made. Classic yellow gold or white gold, in 14kt for a stronger gold ring or 18kt for the best quality, is still alive and well in traditional domed and flat milgrain mens wedding bands as well as styles with newer design accents. Some gold rings even use both colors and even include rose gold for a rich multichrome look. Platinum, the most valuable of the precious metals, has also come to be regarded as a traditional choice. Palladium is similar to platinum in color and strength but is more affordable, and has an interesting history as the metal most used for ladies and mens wedding bands in the 1940s as many other metals went to the war effort and were unavailable. Titanium mens wedding rings are great for active men because they are tough and lightweight. Mens wedding rings in strong, brightly shining tungsten are the hottest trend and seem poised to achieve classic status as they have the solid weight of gold, greater strength than titanium, and the tarnish proof shine of platinum combined in one versatile metal. Tungsten is also scratch resistant, making it a good match for men in manual professions. Best of all, every one of these metals can be found paired with one of the others in several two tone or inlay mens wedding band designs.
The options for a personalized ring do not end with the metals. Mens Wedding Rings are also being produced in every combination of basic to elaborate styles, with simple design accents or breathtaking artistic flourishes. Space age titanium and tungsten are utilized in the simple domed, mirror polished bands that first come to mind when thinking of mens wedding rings. Classic, tasteful diamonds in spring loaded tension settings are being seen in more and more wedding bands for men. An understated brush finish, when applied to an unusual wide, concave tungsten mens wedding ring looks modern and elegant. Mens wedding bands are meant to be worn every day for many years, and with so many options, finding the right one is easy and fun!

Matching Wedding Bands for Everyone
Matching Wedding Bands are a very emotionally special symbol of a couple's love and devotion to one another as they begin their journey through life together and are now available in so many varied styles and so customizable that you are sure to find a set that suits you both and will make you happy to wear them for years to follow. Classic flat or domed yellow gold matching wedding bands will never go out of style, and they are the easiest to match, size, and engrave. If that's too basic for you, a milgrain or beaded edge or adding single inset diamonds to make them matching diamond wedding bands may be what does the trick. If your tastes are entirely different, a white gold eternity set of matching wedding bands could be the way to go. Eternity rings are so named because they are comprised of channel set stones in precious metal. Sometimes these eternity sets are matching diamond wedding bands, and sometimes these Matching Wedding Bands incorporate other stones into a pattern as well.
Ultimately, choose matching wedding bands that suit your personalities and lifestyle. Many couples choose the metal for their bands by matching it to their engagement ring. However, don't feel bound to this. A bride can choose to wear her engagement ring on her right hand, and wedding ring on the left. Consider which metals each of you wears regularly– whose jewelry is silver? Whose watch is gold?
Even if you are one of those "opposites attract" couples, choosing a set of matching wedding bands is not impossible and it can even be one of the first and most fun subjects upon which you'll work out an agreement and come to a compromise. Does one person have very refined, elegant tastes while the other is rugged and outdoorsy? Try matching wedding bands in white gold, platinum, titanium, or tungsten, as they are all very bright, dressy metals that are stronger then yellow gold and require less maintenance. The couple in this example would even be able to find matching diamond wedding bands, since diamonds are the hardest material on earth and as such are very hard to damage. Matching Diamond Wedding Bands in eternity styles and other styles can include other strong stones as well. Some of the strongest are rubies, eneralds, and sapphires, all of which bring a lovely hint of color to any piece of jewelry and can be part of your matching wedding bands selection process.

Facts and Myths of Tungsten Rings
The most growing trend in wedding ring styles has come about with the newfound availability of Tungsten Rings. Wedding bands made from tungsten carbide have been made in small numbers and simple styles for years, but never before have there been so many different kinds of tungsten rings for every personality available from so many sources. The exponential growth of web commerce has now made accessible many less conventional goods and services to people in all areas, and tungsten wedding rings can now be found and happily worn by anyone who likes. I have a tungsten wedding band myself, which we decided on after both of us had purchased and worn some fashion Tungsten Rings and been impressed by their strength and shine. To help you to be a smart shopper, this article will address some common and lesser known facts about tungsten rings as well as dispel some widespread fiction.
Tungsten carbide, the material used to make all Tungsten Rings, is an alloy of tungsten, carbon, and small amounts of other binder metals also used in most gold jewelry, like nickel. Even when rings are billed as "pure tungsten", what they are really saying is that the best quality tungsten carbide has been used, as pure tungsten in its elemental form is very brittle and does not polish well. Some tungsten carbide alloys are made with cobalt, but those should be avoided for several reasons. Cobalt causes an allergic reaction for most people and binds to far too many substances (even the oils in your hand!) for it to last very long without your ring ending up with some nasty discolorations! All in all, cobalt binders result in rings that will not hold up or be pleasant to wear. Honest retailers of good quality products will not carry rings containing cobalt, and will make this very clear on their sites.
Tungsten rings are best known for their incredible strength and durability, which they truly possess, but this has unfortunately led to many people drawing incorrect conclusions about tungsten rings. One claim that has been making the rounds as an e-mail forward and general discussion topic is the idea that they are impossible to break, and should an injury to the hand occur that would require the removal of a ring, the patients finger would have to be removed instead. This is a MYTH! No ring of any material is totally indestructible, and every hospital emergency room has a set of vise grips which place incremental pressure on a ring to easily shatter it with no additional injury to the hand. So wear your tungsten ring with confidence– just be sure the retailer you order from provides a good warranty!

Eternity Rings Are A Beautiful Symbol of Your Devotion
Eternity Rings have become very popular as wedding rings in western society, because they are a fancier, more elaborate illustration of the neverending love symbolism of the wedding band itself. An eternity wedding ring almost always features diamonds, either as the only stones used or as part of a pattern alternating diamonds with other precious gems such as sapphires, emeralds, rubies, or another stone that might have significance to the couple like a birthstone or good luck symbol. The stones in an eternity ring are most often channel set, which means that they are recessed as an inlay pattern within a wedding band rather than help into place by the prong settings seen on other rings. They are usually set in traditional bands of yellow or white gold, but titanium, tungsten, and Platinum Eternity Rings are widely available as well.
There are two basic types of Eternity Rings, full eternity rings and half eternity rings. The gemstones of a full eternity ring fully encircle the band with stones in the same size and cut, for the look of a continuous pattern. These rings are the most beautiful, valuable, and symbolic as eternity rings go, though they can be difficult to resize due to the specific size and number of stones required to properly fill the channels and maintain the pattern. A half eternity ring, though not as valuable or dramatic, still makes a beautiful impression with a pattern or stones set into half of the band, the top portion worn at the back of the hand. This works out because this portion is usually the only part anyone else sees or notices, and a smooth band on the underside of the finger makes the ring slightly more comfortable to wear. With this particular version, the gems are set to only encircle the visible half of the band. They cost less than full eternity rings which make them a good option if a full one is outside your means, you wear a large size of ring, and so on. They are also easier to resize since no refitting or adding of gems is required; a jeweler will simply break and resolder the plain interior section of the band as usual.
Diamond eternity rings for men are a growing trend, as either wedding bands to be worn on the day of the wedding and thereafter, or given by women to their husbands as anniversary gifts or "upgrades" to simpler wedding bands on a special occasion like a holiday or birthday.
